This year we’re aiming to highlight 50 creative thinkers that have inspired us, by giving them the opportunity to guest curate this newsletter, Strands of Genius. Pinar, Rosie and Faris met Pina at a rooftop restaurant in Istanbul, where they talked advertising and art for several hours.

I am a visual and conceptual artist, who is obsessed with AI visual technologies. I create and produce projects where I bring soul into technology. Beyond what I do for work, I am an explorer of my higher self and I devote my creativity to the service to the greater good.
Editor’s Note (Rosie): We met Pinar for dinner in Istanbul, knowing very little about each other. But here’s some relevant background. Faris and I have had a recurring years-long discussion around art. More specifically, what is art? Istanbul is the home of one of our favorite modern art museums, and the question was on our minds. Pinar is an artist, and I saved up my questions all day. She not only indulged our discussion, but ahem, added color to our thinking. We ended the evening speaking of her plans to live elsewhere, and to continue to bring technology and people together through art… so we can’t say we’re at all surprised to see her continued success and the launch of her Seyahn Lee!

WORK FROM FRIENDS IN AMSTERDAM
Awesome new work by my friends in Amsterdam. HALAL Productions company founded a new division called Lockdown productions. While everyone was asked to stay home, 3 directors of the agency created 3 commercials for Skoda, all within the means inside their home. For me, this is the proof that creativity cannot be captivated! While some are paralysed from fear, others create never-before-seen works. (Halal)

So happy to see AI visuals slowly becoming the new normal in the entertainment industry. The artist Mario Klingemann used AI to create Massive Attack x Young Fathers latest EP Eutopia's music video and promotion.
In these times of uncertainty, working on these short films helped me a lot in my spiritual hygiene. Three movies of three minutes, where we trained the machine to become our spiritual teacher. Deep Fake Consciousness Guru giving soothing wisdom.
