:: A BIT MORE ABOUT GUEST CURATOR, LAURIE SCHIBLE::

I’m a Certified Mindset Coach — Something that was 25 years in the making via an extensive journey through 'Corporate America in sales, marketing & leadership. It took me awhile to realize my natural calling, but 6 years ago I went deep into earning several coaching certifications, starting my own coaching business & transformational growth. It was along this journey I found my way to a girl tribe weekend called Campowerment, and to Rosie. We were bunkies with 9 other amazing women (Bunk 8 Rules!) Rosie and I became Bliss Buddies, sharing daily gratitude for months following camp. Soon after I had the pleasure of meeting Faris and we’ve all shared many an adventure together since! To say I’m grateful for Rosie and Faris is an understatement! They lived with us for 2 weeks last summer, where we not only realized the beauty of communal living, but discovered we could easily create a communal living community with Rosie & Faris (if they ever decided to break from nomad life that is.) We’ve shared many a conversation about the importance of our own personal journeys in the working world, but even mores about creating human connection. We often talk about the balance of living life full out while running a successful business, and not compromising what matters in life. These topics are close to my heart and central to my business. My hope is this content might help guide you on your own journey! Be present, laugh….a lot…and live life full!

Editor’s Note (from Rosie): For whatever reason, I once had a block against life coaches. I was sure I didn’t like them. But at Campowerment, you’re not allowed to say what you do for the first 24 hours. So I fell in love with Laurie before I realized she was a coach. And then, soon after, I realized that not all coaches are created equally, and that while there are some out there selling snake oil (duh, like any profession), there are some out there who are creating meaningful change in people’s lives. Watching Laurie expand her coaching practice has been inspiring, as both her friend and as a fellow small business owner.

But it’s not the growth that’s gotten me so inspired, it’s the kind of impact that she’s been able to have, helping people grow while creating a life they love. Like the story of the guy who went from being unrecognized on his team to being one of the top sellers in his company a matter of months, and directly attributed it to his work with Laurie. Or we could talk about all the working moms that she’s helped find clarity, balance and success… It’s not just the coaching background, it’s her deep rooted desire to connect and help people, combined with her corporate America experience and knowledge of the system. She’s not one to brag on herself, but y’all. If you’re feeling like you’re in a rut, would SO encourage you to reach out and connect with this amazing woman.

The truth is, we all know more or less what to do, but were not doing it. If we were, we’d already have the success we want and be right where we want to be in life. What we lack, is true accountability and someone to show us past our blind spots and guide us through our fears. That’s where a coach or mentor comes into play, and is an invaluable guide for helping you uncover the best way to your next level and beyond.
